Study investigating the efficacy and the safety of a drug named ‘E2609’ in patients with early Alzheimer’s disease
Goal of this study
To treat Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disease that gradually destroys memory and thinking skills. This study will investigate the efficacy of a drug named E2609 in patients with early Alzheimer’s disease. This study will also investigate the safety of E2609. E2609 will be given to the patient through the mouth once daily every day for a period of 24 months.
Who can participate in this study?
Patients who have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease or mild Alzheimer’s disease and who are between the ages of 50 and 85 may be eligible to participate in this study. This study accepts both men and women and does not accept healthy volunteers.
