Study investigating the efficacy and the safety of a dietary supplement named ‘Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT)-oil’ in patients with Alzheimer’s disease
Goal of this study
To treat Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disease that gradually destroys memory and thinking skills. This study will investigate the effect of a dietary supplement named MCT-oil on nourishing the brain with energy in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. This study will also investigate the safety of the supplement.
Who can participate in this study?
Patients who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and who are 65 years and older may be eligible to participate in this study. This study accepts both men and women and accepts healthy volunteers. Healthy volunteers have to be 65 years and older.
Important: Additional eligibility criteria apply and the patient’s record will be verified by the study doctor (with the patient’s approval) to confirm eligibility.
