Study investigating the effect of physical exercise in patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease
Goal of this study
To treat Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disease that gradually destroys memory and thinking skills. This study will investigate the effect of a 3-month walking program on patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease. Patients will be walking from 15 to 45 minutes on a treadmill 3 times a week for 12 weeks under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
Who can participate in this study?
Patients who have been diagnosed with mild Alzheimer’s disease and who are 40 years and older may be eligible to participate in this study. This study accepts both men and women and does not accept healthy volunteers.
