Study examining the effect of inhaling a drug named ‘Furosemide’ on Physical Activity-Related Breathlessness
Goal of this study
To help manage physical activity-related breathlessness in patients with respiratory diseases.
Breathlessness limits physical activity and affects the quality of life in patients with respiratory diseases. This study will examine the effect of inhaling a drug named ‘Furosemide’ on breathlessness during exercise in healthy young men in the presence of an external thoracic restriction to mimic a lung deficit.
Who can participate in this study?
Healthy volunteers aged between 18 and 40 years may be eligible to participate in this study. This study only accepts men.
